Thanks to everyone who made it out to last Friday's Calvin and Hobbes Snowmen event! It was a blast!
And now onto our next event...

Valentine's Day Card-Making and CD Mix Exchange!
Thursday, February 11th, 7:30 pm
English Building (there will be signs)

As per the title of our event, we are gathering to make Valentine's Day cards for our friends and loved ones. THS will also be providing supplies to do so. After that, we'll play games and hold a CD mix exchange. If you’re interested in the latter, be sure to bring a CD mix of your favorite tunes to trade.

If you couldn't make it out to our info night and are interested in taking up an officer position or a staff position in Tree House Society (publicizing, volunteering, designing), please contact Brittany Serenbetz at blseren@gmail.com for information about available positions. Hello everyone!

Hope all your finals are going well! Almost done!

T-Shirts are in! We were expecting to pick them up last week but there was a delay at the print shop. Unfortunately, most of you have already left for break so we are going to officially hand them out after break. If however, you would like yours before break, please email Eli (treehousesocial@gmail.com) before Friday and she will set up a time to meet you.

2nd Annual Halloween Party

2nd ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARTY!

TIME: 5:30 PM - 12 PM

WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 31

WHERE: 703 W. California, Urbana (Amanda's house)

We are holding a costume party at Amanda Romero’s house at 703 W. California, which is just a few blocks from the Quad. We will meet at her house at 5:30pm and leave for trick-or-treating around 6pm. Afterwards, we will eat pizza, play games, and watch scary movies! If you can, please bring a few dollars to pitch in for food. You can also bring a snack to share if you wish. "Where the Wild Things Are" Film Party with Tree House Society!

English Building / Beverly Cinema

If you loved reading "Where the Wild Things Are" as a kid, you're probably psyched about the upcoming movie adaptation! The movie is being released on October 16th and Tree House Society is gathering as a group to go see it!

First, we will be meeting at the English building (signs will be posted for room) at 7:30pm to face paint and put together monster costumes. We will be providing supplies but feel free to bring your own.

Second, we are taking the bus! If you can't meet us at 7:30, meet us at Transit Plaza at 8:15 to catch the 100 N Yellow (8:28). If you get lost or miss the bus, please call Seth McCann at (571) 215-5435. Showtime is 9:30pm for those of you who prefer to meet us there. Tickets are $5.75--hope that you can join us on this spectacular night!

Thank you all who attended our Nighttime Playground Games! Zombie tag, marco polo, woodchips, mafia, etc. = great turnout. Here's our upcoming event!

We are gathering to finger paint and watch our favorite classic Nickelodeon shows! If you loved Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Hey Arnold!, The Secret World of Alex Mac, and other shows you watched as a kid, come out and join us for an evening of fun and nostalgia. Paints and paper will be provided--just bring yourself!

We are open to any suggestions you have for shows you crave to see again--even if they're not necessarily Nickelodeon.

The Union / Scott Park

We are going to up the ante this time with the sharing of our night time childhood experiences! Ghosts in the graveyard, sardines, hot lava, flashlight tag and more! Bring flashlights if you have 'em!

We are going to meet up at the Union and walk as a group to Scott Park, which is located at 3rd and Healey, north of the post office. It's a new big park with a playground, grass, and a creek! If you'd like you could also meet us at the park around 7:15pm. We might go for pizza or insomnia cookies afterwards, so please attend!
