Finger Painting and Nickelodeon Night!

Thank you all who attended our Nighttime Playground Games! Zombie tag, marco polo, woodchips, mafia, etc. = great turnout. Here's our upcoming event!

Finger Painting and Nickelodeon Night!

Thursday, October 1, 7pm-9pm
English Building basement, Rm 69

We are gathering to finger paint and watch our favorite classic Nickelodeon shows! If you loved Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Hey Arnold!, The Secret World of Alex Mac, and other shows you watched as a kid, come out and join us for an evening of fun and nostalgia. Paints and paper will be provided--just bring yourself!

We are open to any suggestions you have for shows you crave to see again--even if they're not necessarily Nickelodeon.

Thank you to everyone who attended our picnic. It was fantastic getting to know all of you! Also thanks to the many people who shared food. Pictures are up on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=17142481879&ref=ts

Our next event is coming up this week!

Nighttime Playground Games!
Thursday, September 24, 7pm-8:30pm
The Union / Scott Park

We are going to up the ante this time with the sharing of our night time childhood experiences! Ghosts in the graveyard, sardines, hot lava, flashlight tag and more! Bring flashlights if you have 'em!

We are going to meet up at the Union and walk as a group to Scott Park, which is located at 3rd and Healey, north of the post office. It's a new big park with a playground, grass, and a creek! If you'd like you could also meet us at the park around 7:15pm. We might go for pizza or insomnia cookies afterwards, so please attend!

Dear Tree House Society,

Thank you to everyone who came to our info meeting, it was very spectacular! We went over who we are and what we do: Tree House Society aims to explore imagination through childhood inspired events, crafts, and field trips. Our hope is to grow a community of people willing to imagine, explore, and create. For more info, photos, music, videos check us out here: http://www.uiuc.edu/ro/ths

In light of this, our first event of the semester is here!

Childhood Games and Potluck Pic-a-nic!
Saturday, September 12, 1pm
North part of the Quad

We will eat, get to know each other, and play some outdoor games. Our event, naturally, is childhood themed so please come with picnic blankets, game ideas, recess stories, and creativity. Kites are especially welcome.

Since our picnic is a potluck we are asking for people to bring food. If you are feeling especially inspired, please sign-up here:

If you cannot bring food don't worry! Just bring yourself.
